Ronald Lawrence Burns, 70, of Lafayette died 6:55am Friday, March 30, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 21, 1942 in Lafayette to the late Bernard Lawrence Burns and Freeda Louise Faker. He was a 1959 graduate of Remington High School and attended 2 years of business school in Ft. Wayne. He was a realtor with Merit Realty, Lafayette, IN He was a mem ber of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mr. Burns served in the National Guard. Surviving are 2 brothers, Jerry J. Burns (wife: Mary Lou) of Springfield, IL & Kevin B. Burns (wife: Hilda) of Kokomo, IN. Friends may call from 9:30 until time of Mass 11:00am Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at St. Mary Cathedral, Father Dennis Faker officiating. Graveside Service will follow at 2:30pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Remington, IN. Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus.
