Heather Lyn Barnard died in her residence unexpectedly on her 41st birthday Saturday April 14, 2012. Heather graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1989. She attended Ball State University and graduated from Ivy Tech, where she was on the Dean's list. She was employed as a medical transcriptionist. Heather is survived by her son, Brandon; a daughter, Amanda; her mother Penny; sisters Marissa and Maria (husband Scott); brothers, Thomas (wife Kyla) and Jamie (wife Heather); her grandparents, Mary and Tommy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father, James Barnard. A private mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fr. David Buckles officiating.
